Thank you so much to everyone who braved the rain and the zombies to be with us - our 4th Anniversary was a huge success. We apparently had a very polite crowd, as no one took the last piece of anniversary cake. Too funny.

Huge thanks to Joe Radio, who not only rocked the back room all night, but also started spinning 30 minutes early to keep the troops entertained. And kudos to our front room DJs Fact 50 and Persephone! You guys played a bunch of our favorites - I had a spanking good time.

My apologies to those who were not prepared to see my ass - in all honesty, it hadn't occurred to me that our sexy dommes would demand to have some naked flesh to spank.

Two lessons I have learned from the experience:

1. No one wants to request a spanking when they've just seen someone savagely beaten.
and 2. Wearing a metal-studded belt that evening may have been a mistake.

We hope to see you next month, when Strangelove pays tribute to Siouxsie and the women of goth and electro. In the back room, Tomas Diablo and DJ/VJ Lowlife (NWC, 1984) spin the best of Siouxsie, the Banshees, the Creatures, and your favorite goth, new wave, dark electro, and industrial. In the front room, DJs Orko and Otter (Dancing Ghosts) pay tribute to the fairer sex with music by the Eurythmics, Bjork, Ladytron, Kate Bush, Portishead, the Knife, Cocteau Twins, Zombie Girl, Goldfrapp, and so much more!

And I promise to keep my pants on this time.
